The Scratch

The Scratch is an Irish band whose music combines traditional Irish sounds with metal, placed between folk metal and folk rock. This London concert takes place at the O2 Forum Kentish Town.

The Scratch is an Irish band working at the meeting point of traditional music and metal, which places its sound between folk metal and folk rock. Its debut album, Couldn't Give a Rats, was released in 2020, and it is the most precise reference point available for the band's recorded work. The group's approach keeps the rhythms and melodic colour of Irish traditional music while bringing in the heavier guitar textures of metal.

The evening is a concert by the band itself, so the audience can expect the Scratch's own material rather than covers or a tribute. Information on the usual line-up and the exact repertoire played live is not something this listing confirms, so the set is best approached as a rock and folk-metal performance in the band's own style.

The O2 Forum Kentish Town is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows, and it suits listeners who already follow folk-rock and metal-influenced acts. The night will appeal to fans of Irish traditional music crossing into heavier territory, and to anyone curious about the Scratch's debut record as an introduction to their sound.
