Overview
The Wombats bring their tour for the anniversary of their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, to The Prospect Building in Bristol. Support comes from Cherryholt.
The Wombats are a British indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003. They release their records on the 14th Floor Records label, and their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, came out in 2007. The show takes its title from that record, so the evening is built around the album that introduced the band.
Cherryholt is the support act on the bill. The Prospect Building hosts concerts and shows in Bristol, and this performance is one of several dates on the tour, so the evening suits listeners who know the band's catalogue as well as those coming to it for the first time.
The Wombats are a rock band with an indie sensibility, and this concert gives their debut album a central place in the night.
