Wolf Eyes + Cuntroaches

A double bill at Cafe OTO in London, pairing the Michigan experimental group Wolf Eyes with the Berlin noise-punk trio Cuntroaches. The evening is a concert.

Wolf Eyes is an experimental group from Michigan, formed in 1998, whose work draws on noise, industrial and avant-garde music. Over the years the act has put out a large body of albums and EPs on independent labels. The current line-up is the duo of John Olson and Nate Young, who have worked together for more than twenty years. Their forthcoming album, Self Embalmed, is due as a picture disc LP.

Cuntroaches are a trio from Berlin playing noise-punk, with a sound the source material describes as chaotic, cacophonous and visceral. Their 2024 record, which carries the band's own name, was issued by SKiN GRAFT Records.

The bill brings together two acts from the noise end of the experimental scene at Cafe OTO, a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The material points to listeners drawn to extreme music as the natural audience for the evening.
