Laff-uccino with John Robertson, Rosie Jones

HAVEN Coffee's Signature gig, Laff-Uccino is BACK once again, during the festive season of 2026, at Big Penny Social, with an ACE Lineup including Yuriko Kotani, John Robertson, and Rosie Jones, with even more to be announced.

The line-up includes talented and hilarious comedians from Refugee & Migrant Backgrounds performing for their very first, second or third gig, refugees from our latest stand-up workshop participants, and some old horses of the stage.

Laff-Uccino started in December 2019. Born out of Walthamstow’s HAVEN Coffee, a social enterprise that serves ethically sourced, fair-trade, organic cup of specialty coffee with a social mission of breaking false narratives around refugees and migrants through arts and culture. This show marks the 12th instalment of their signature comedy gig.

Want to make your night out make a difference?

Our £5 Donation Ticket adds an extra £5 to your ticket price, with 100% of this additional donation supporting HAVEN’s refugee empowerment work.

Your contribution will help us provide stand-up comedy training for refugees and people seeking sanctuary, giving them the opportunity to develop their voice, confidence and performance skills. It will also help us provide barista training and employment opportunities, helping people build practical skills and pathways into work.

Enjoy the comedy, drink the coffee, and help someone take their next step. ❤️

Every £5 donation helps us create more opportunities for refugee and asylum-seeking communities.
