About — The artist
Attention is a rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed of former members of The Stereo, Gloria Record, New End Original and Gratitude: singer and guitarist Jeremy Tappero, drummer David Jarnstrom, guitarist Eric Fairchild and bassist Derek Ritchison.
The band released its debut album, Say What You Mean What You Say, in 2003 on Suburban Home Records, then went on hiatus when Jeremy and David joined Gratitude. After Gratitude split up, they returned to Attention in late 2005 to record a new album, Yeah.. I'm Fine, released in Japan on Bad News Records. In 2007, Attention released the EP Stand Strong. The band then released Everything Takes Forever in June 2009, followed by Through the Wire on February 1, 2010, and finally Tattered Youth on May 22, 2012.
