About — The artist

Bryson Tiller (born 2 January 1993) is an American R&B singer and rapper. He began his career in 2011 with his first mixtape, Killer Instinct Vol. 1. He rose to wider recognition after the 2015 release of his single "Don't", which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified quintuple platinum by the RIAA. This success led to a deal with RCA Records, which released "Don't" as the lead single from his debut studio album Trapsoul (2015), which entered the top ten of the Billboard 200.

Trapsoul was certified triple platinum by the RIAA and produced two further singles: "Exchange", certified quintuple platinum and Grammy-nominated, and "Sorry Not Sorry", certified double platinum. He featured alongside Rihanna on DJ Khaled's 2017 single "Wild Thoughts", which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified nine-times platinum. His second studio album, True to Self (2017), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, while his third album, Anniversary (2020), reached number five. His fourth, self-titled album (2024) peaked at number 12 and produced the single "Whatever She Wants", a top-20 Billboard Hot 100 hit certified triple platinum. His fifth album, Solace & The Vices, was released in 2025.

Tiller has received several accolades, including two BET Awards for Best New Artist and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. In March 2016, he was given the key to the city by the mayor of Louisville, Greg Fischer. He has received four Grammy nominations, including two for his work with singer H.E.R. on her single "Could've Been" (2018) and her album Back of My Mind (2021).
