About — The artist
Cloud Nothings is an American indie rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, United States, founded by singer-songwriter Dylan Baldi. It currently consists of vocalist and guitarist Dylan Baldi, drummer Jayson Gerycz and bassist Chris Brown.
Formed in 2009, the band began as a solo project: Baldi recorded vocals and instruments in the basement of his parents' house, although he performed live with a full group. He was first signed to Carpark Records, based in Washington D.C., and today works with Pure Noise Records. His breakthrough album, Attack on Memory, was released in 2012 on Carpark. It was followed by Here and Nowhere Else, released on 1 April 2014, and Life Without Sound, published on 27 January 2017.
They were followed by Last Building Burning, released on 19 October 2018, the Bandcamp-exclusive release The Black Hole Understands, out on 3 July 2020, and The Shadow I Remember, out on 26 February 2021.
