About — The artist

Eyehategod, also stylised EyeHateGod, sometimes abbreviated and credited under the initials EHG, is an American sludge metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They are one of the pioneering bands of this scene. For years, the band maintained its original line-up, with the exception of the bassist, who was replaced by various other musicians, and drummer Joey LaCaze, who passed away in 2013.

Eyehategod cites Melvins, Carnivore, The Obsessed, Discharge, Black Flag, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Sabbath, Celtic Frost, Confessor, and Saint Vitus as their main inspirations.
