Fat White Family

Fat White Family are an English rock band formed in 2011 in Peckham, south London. Their singer, Lias Saoudi, has been the only constant member of the project through numerous line-up changes. The current line-up also includes his brother Nathan Saoudi (keyboards), a co-founder of the group, as well as Adam J Harmer and Adam Brennan (guitars), Alex White (keyboards, saxophone and percussion), Victor Jakeman (bass and keyboards) and Guilherme Fells (drums). Guitarist Saul Adamczewski was a member of the band intermittently for much of its history.

The band is known for its energetic live performances, its chaotic personal lives and its drug use. It has released four studio albums: Champagne Holocaust (2013), Songs for Our Mothers (2016), Serfs Up! (2019) and Forgiveness Is Yours (2024).

In 2022, Lias Saoudi and the writer Adelle Stripe co-wrote the autobiographical book Ten Thousand Apologies: Fat White Family and the Miracle of Failure, which recounts the turbulent history of the group. Several side projects and offshoot groups have emerged from the band, among them Moonlandingz, Warmduscher, Decius and Insecure Men.
