About — The artist
Fink, real name Fin Greenall (born in St Ives, England), is a British singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. Between 1997 and 2003, he recorded electronic music and performed as a DJ around the world with his album Fresh Produce. Since the release of the album Biscuits for Breakfast in 2006, the name Fink has referred to the trio formed by Fin Greenall, Tim Thornton and Guy Whittaker.
While Greenall is known in particular for the song This is the Thing, released in 2007, and the album Perfect Darkness, released in 2011, he is also noted as a writer. He has written notably for John Legend, Banks, Wimena Sarinana and Professor Green. With Amy Winehouse, he co-wrote the song Half Time, which appears on the singer's posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures. Fink is signed to his own label, R'COUP'D Records, an imprint of Ninja Tune.
