About — The artist
Girlfriend is an Australian girl group formed in 1991. Its debut album, Make It Come True, arrived in 1992 and produced four singles that charted in the ARIA top 50, including the number one "Take It from Me". The group also became known for its sense of style: its floral hats became a symbol of the band, and at one point it had its own clothing line.
After the departure of lead singer Robyn Loau, the group took the name GF4.
