About — The artist
Kittie, also styled KiTTiE, is a Canadian all-female nu metal band from London, Ontario. Fallon Bowman (guitar) and Mercedes Lander (drums), the band's founders, met in 1997 at a gymnastics class. The band was formed afterwards, when Morgan Lander (guitar and vocals), Mercedes's older sister, joined them. They began by playing covers of Nirvana and Silverchair, and later went on to write their own songs.
