About — The artist
Lake Street Dive is an indie jazz and soul group formed in 2004 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band consists of Rachael Price (lead vocals), Mike “McDuck” Olson (trumpet, guitar), Bridget Kearney (double bass) and Mike Calabrese (drums). The musicians met while studying at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. The band's name was inspired by a street in Minneapolis, Mike Olson's hometown, lined with numerous dive bars. Based in Brooklyn, the band tours extensively across North America and Europe.
