About — The artist
Liars is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, now based in Australia. It was formed in 2000 by Angus Andrew, who remains the only constant member. Former members include Aaron Hemphill, who played with the group from its creation until his departure in 2017, and Julian Gross, who joined after the release of the second album, They Were Wrong, So We Drowned, in 2004, and remained until his departure in 2014. Liars has released ten studio albums on Mute Records. They blend elements of punk rock with electronica.
