About — The artist

The Boss (Korean: 대국남아, literally “The Boys of Super Space”; Japanese: 大国男児), also known as DGNA, was a South Korean boy band formed in 2010 by Open World Entertainment. The group quietly disbanded, with several members joining the group ASC2NT in 2024.

The five members of The Boss were previously members of the generational group Xing under other stage names. Officially announced on January 28, 2010, the group debuted on March 4, 2010 with the song “Admiring Boy” on Mnet M!Countdown.

Starting in September 2010, the group spent a year promoting in Japan the singles “Love Power,” “Love Bingo!” and “Love Parade,” as part of its “Love Series,” before returning to South Korea to promote “Lady” in October 2011. It was described as “K-pop re-exported from Japan” due to its “Japan first, Korea second” performance strategy.
