About — The artist
Trampolene is a British alternative rock band from the Swansea area in Wales. It is currently based in London, England. The band is made up of Jack Jones (vocals, guitar, slam), Wayne Thomas (bass, vocals) and Rob Steele (drums, vocals). Trampolene has six EPs, including Beautiful Pain, released on 7 July 2017. The band's debut album, Swansea to Hornsey, was released on 27 October 2017.
Trampolene built its reputation by playing club and festival shows across the UK and Europe. In summer 2017, the band played several festivals, including Tramlines, the Isle of Wight and Reading, in collaboration with This Feeling and Jack Rocks. They also headlined 229 (London) on 21 September 2017, and supported the Libertines in Blackpool and Kilmarnock. They will support Liam Gallagher on his UK tour in December 2017.
Jack Jones also performs poetry solo, notably supporting the Libertines on their 2016 UK tour, and was presented in NME as "the poet on the Libertines tour." Jack is also a guitarist in Peter Doherty's band, the Puta Madres, and supports his European and South American solo tour, reciting poems and performing Trampolene songs.
