Rev21 is a gospel jazz band whose rich musicianship, soulful energy and uplifting message bring together influences from Israel Houghton and Kirk Franklin, the bold brass of Tower of Power and Trombone Shorty, and the grooves of jazz and soul.

The band formed through London’s music and church communities, with members who studied at leading institutions including the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music. Each brings their own experience of the UK’s jazz, blues and soul scenes, united by a shared passion for faith and creativity.

Their 2024 debut album, Let Them Hear, showcases their original songs and signature sound. Alongside their own material, Rev21 reimagine gospel classics with fresh arrangements that connect genres and generations: music rooted in soul, built on faith and open to all.
