Informazioni — L’artista
Richard Paul Ashcroft (born on 11 September 1971) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He formed the alternative rock band The Verve in 1990, for which he was the sole songwriter, lead singer, and rhythm guitarist throughout the band's existence. In 2000, Ashcroft began a solo career, releasing six albums that reached the UK top three, including Alone with Everybody, Keys to the World, and These People.
Ashcroft's songwriting has twice been honored by the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors, which awarded him an Ivor Novello Award. The Verve's Urban Hymns is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the United Kingdom. On 10 October 2025, Ashcroft released his seventh solo studio album, Lovin' You.
