2nd Annual Classic Concert

A rap and R&B concert in Orlando at the Kia Center, bringing together Juvenile, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, BossMan Dlow, Pretty Ricky and Webbie on one bill.

Juvenile is a New Orleans rapper whose 1998 album 400 Degreez, released on Cash Money Records, includes the single "Back That Thang Up." Rick Ross, from Miami, debuted in 2006 with Port of Miami, which featured "Hustlin'." Both artists are central figures in Southern hip-hop, and the bill draws on that tradition.

Trey Songz, a Virginia-born singer, works mainly in R&B, bringing a melodic counterpart to the rap artists on the bill. Pretty Ricky, a Miami group, is associated with the 2000s single "Grind on Me." Webbie, from Baton Rouge, and BossMan Dlow complete the lineup of performers.

The night suits listeners who follow Southern rap and its links with R&B. The Kia Center, the Orlando venue hosting the event, also hosts exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.
