Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information TicketMundi collects when you use this site, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It applies together with our Terms of Use.
1. Who we are
TicketMundi is published by Hestia Data (SAS), a company registered in France, 29 boulevard Edgar Quinet, 75014 Paris, France. We have no office in the United States. Questions about this policy: contact@ticketmundi.com.
2. What we collect
We collect as little as we can:
- No account: you never need to sign in to browse listings and event pages.
- No email address: this site offers no newsletter and no email alerts.
- Technical data (IP address, browser, page requested, date and time), handled by our hosting provider when your browser connects to the site, to keep it secure and running.
- Cookie-free usage statistics: to learn which features are actually used, the site records
interactions such as a filter used, a venue calendar opened, a player opened, a page viewed and the length of the
visit. Each record carries a random visit code kept in your browser tab
(
sessionStorage, not a cookie) and deleted when you close the tab. It cannot recognize you from one visit to the next or follow you across websites. We do not store your IP address with these records and we build no profile. - Clicks on "Book" links: each click is recorded with the event, the ticket seller, the page you clicked from, the first page of your visit, the website or AI assistant you came from (if any), the type of device, your country (worked out by our hosting provider from the connection) and the random visit code. No cookie and no IP address are stored. We pass only the name of the event page to the affiliate network, so that a sale can be credited to us, never anything that identifies you.
- Connector for AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude…): when an assistant searches our listings through our connector, we count the request: the tool used, the name of the assistant, the city and language requested, and whether an answer was found. We receive only the technical question sent to the listings, never your identity or your conversation.
- Messages you send us: your email address, your name if you give it, the content of the message and any attachments.
3. How we use it
- to run the site and show listings and event pages;
- to keep the site secure and prevent abuse;
- to understand, in aggregate, which pages and features are useful, and to improve them;
- to check the commissions we are owed by ticket sellers (see our affiliate disclosure);
- to answer your messages.
We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
4. Who receives it
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), our hosting provider, which runs the site, its databases and its content delivery network on our behalf.
- For the messages you send us: Google (the mailbox our messages are forwarded to), Anthropic (an AI assistant that helps us sort messages and prepare or send replies) and Scaleway SAS (France), which sends our replies.
- The providers of embedded media (Google / YouTube, Spotify and Deezer) when a page loads one of their players (section 7). We send them nothing: your browser connects to them directly.
- Ticket sellers and their affiliate networks, only through what they collect on their own websites after you click a "Book" link. Their own privacy policies apply.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies of its own while you browse it: no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. It uses the random visit code described in section 2 (kept in your tab, deleted when you close it) and a few display preferences stored in your browser (for example the list or poster view). If you pick a country on the TicketMundi home page, a cookie remembers that choice. Ticket sellers may set their own cookies on their websites after you click a "Book" link.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across websites, so we do not change our practices in response to Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information, a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to switch off on this site.
7. Third-party content and tracking
Some pages embed players from Spotify, Deezer and YouTube. When a player loads, these services may collect information about your visit under their own policies (Spotify, Deezer, Google). When you click a "Book" link, the ticket seller and its affiliate network may track that visit on their own websites.
YouTube (YouTube API Services)
- What we use. TicketMundi uses the YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API) to find an artist's video or a show's trailer, and the embedded YouTube player to show it on event and artist pages. By watching a YouTube video on our site, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Data processed by YouTube is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- What we collect and keep. No personal information goes through the YouTube API: we never ask you to sign in to YouTube or Google, we access no account and keep no authorization token. We only keep the public identifier of the video shown (and, for some venues, the identifier of their YouTube channel). Each identifier is checked again with YouTube at least every 30 days and deleted when it is no longer public or embeddable, or when its event page is archived.
- Use and sharing. These identifiers are only used to show the video concerned. We do not share or sell any data obtained through the YouTube API and do not use it for advertising or to track you.
- What happens on your device. Before you click, only the video thumbnail loads (an image served by
YouTube,
i.ytimg.com). When you click to play, the YouTube player loads in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and shares basic usage data with YouTube (IP address, device, playback). YouTube and Google may then set or read cookies and local storage on your device and show third-party content, including advertising, in the player. - Control and revoke. TicketMundi does not ask for any access to your Google account. You can review or revoke access granted to apps on Google's security settings page, and delete YouTube cookies from your browser. Any request to delete data about you, sent to contact@ticketmundi.com, is handled within 7 days.
8. How long we keep it
- Technical logs: 12 months at most.
- Cookie-free usage statistics: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Records of clicks on "Book" links: kept with no set time limit, as sales statistics. They contain nothing that identifies you: no cookie, no IP address, and the random visit code is erased from your browser when you close the tab.
- Messages you send us: 3 years from our last exchange.
- YouTube video and channel identifiers: checked at least every 30 days (section 7).
9. Security and where your information is processed
We protect the information we hold with reasonable technical measures (encrypted connections, access limited to our team). It is processed in the United States and in the European Union.
10. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Pages about family outings are written for parents.
11. Your choices and requests
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to contact@ticketmundi.com. We reply within 45 days and may ask for information to confirm your identity.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed; significant changes are explained on this page.
13. Contact
