454

A rap concert titled 454, presented at Cafe Du Nord, a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows.

454 is a rap act, a genre that grew out of block parties and DJ culture in New York in the 1970s and built its music on rhythmic spoken delivery over beats. In rap, the lyrics, the rhythm, and the voice of the performer carry the performance, and a live show puts those elements on stage.

Cafe Du Nord is a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this booking brings the act to its stage for a rap performance. The format suits anyone who wants to hear the genre performed live in the city, with the artist's own lyrics and delivery at the center.
