60 Juno/ Misandrist/ Still Ruins/ Algoslave

A live music evening at Neck of the Woods in San Francisco, with four acts: 60 Juno, Misandrist, Still Ruins and Algoslave, the last one a live-coding electronic project.

Algoslave is the act on this bill whose music is described here: an algorithmic electronic project that builds its sound through live coding, with patterns written and modified on stage rather than played back from fixed tracks. Live coding means the performer writes code during the set, so the sound changes in real time. Misandrist, Still Ruins and 60 Juno complete the four-act program, each appearing on the same night alongside Algoslave.

Neck of the Woods is a concert venue in San Francisco, and this evening is one of its live music programs. Because all four names share one bill, the night works as a single program of four acts. It suits listeners who want to hear several different acts in one evening, with live-coded electronic music as one of its anchors.
