Overview
A burlesque parody of classic horror characters, staged at the Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood. The show comes from the team behind The Empire Strips Back.
A Nightmare on Strip Street is a cabaret and dinner show that turns classic horror characters into burlesque parody. The Scream Queens take those familiar figures apart on stage, using comedy and a burlesque twist to stage their revenge on the originals. The production comes from the same creators as The Empire Strips Back, another burlesque parody.
The running time is 1 hour and 35 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. The show takes place at the Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood, a venue for live shows, and the venue is ADA compliant.
The humor rests on horror-movie references and parody, so the outing suits visitors who enjoy burlesque and genre spoofs, whether they come as a couple or with a group of friends.
