An adventure in Glassblowing by Torch

A hands-on glassblowing workshop in Las Vegas, where participants shape glass with a torch. It is an activity rather than a show or a dinner.

This outing is a glassblowing workshop in which glass is worked and shaped with a torch. Participants take part directly in the process rather than watching a performance, so the session centers on making a piece by hand.

Torch glassblowing, also called lampworking, softens glass in a flame before it is shaped with hand tools. The technique is precise and works on small pieces, which is why it is often practiced at a bench with a torch in front of the maker.

The workshop suits visitors who want a hands-on activity during a stay in Las Vegas, as well as anyone curious about glass art who would rather make something than watch it. It takes place in Las Vegas.
