Classic Pad Thai - Philadelphia

A hands-on cooking workshop in Philadelphia where participants prepare classic Pad Thai from scratch at Mt Airy Art Garage, then plate the dish and eat it together. It is held in English and suits those who want to learn the recipe by doing it.

Classic Pad Thai - Philadelphia is a cooking workshop in which each participant builds the Thai noodle dish step by step. You slice fresh ingredients, practice basic knife skills and prepare the noodles with guidance, then balance a sauce made in layers of sweet, salty, sour and spicy flavors.

Once the dish is cooked, you plate it, add garnishes and eat it alongside the other participants. Along the way, the host shares tips on choosing seasonal produce and specialty spices for making Pad Thai at home. Guests booked together work side by side and share ingredients and equipment.

The workshop takes place at Mt Airy Art Garage on Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. It suits food lovers and home cooks who want a hands-on introduction to this dish. The venue is not wheelchair accessible.
