Overview
Clock-Out Lounge hosts a double bill of tribute performances dedicated to The Cure and Portishead.
The Lovecats pay tribute to The Cure, the English rock band formed in Crawley in 1978. Throughout their decades-long career, The Cure became central to the development of alternative rock and gothic rock, releasing acclaimed records such as Disintegration and Pornography while earning a dedicated global following through enduring songs like Just Like Heaven and Boys Don't Cry.
Sharing the bill, Sour Times present a tribute to Portishead, the English band formed in Bristol in 1991. Pioneers of the trip-hop genre, Portishead gained widespread recognition with their seminal debut album Dummy and the hit single Glory Box, defining a dark, cinematic electronic sound.
