Do Not Sit on Art Week : Patrice Baumel

An electronic music night in Miami Beach, held during Miami Art Week, with Patrice Bäumel on the bill at Do Not Sit On The Furniture, a venue that hosts concerts and shows.

Patrice Bäumel is the artist on this bill, presented under the title Do Not Sit On Art Week. The act is associated with the Crosstown Rebels label, and the night is part of the electronic music programming at Do Not Sit On The Furniture.

Do Not Sit On The Furniture is a venue in Miami Beach that hosts concerts and shows. For this evening, the program pairs electronic music with art installations and craft cocktails, and the venue describes its garden area as a central part of the setting. The organizers present the night as an alternative to the larger scale of Miami's Art Week circuit.

The evening suits people attending Miami Art Week who want a smaller-format outing centered on underground electronic music, as well as visitors interested in combining sound and visual art. Whether the main draw is the music or the installations, the night is built around both.
