Dorothy Roberson presents: Tribute to Tina Turner

A tribute concert presented by Dorothy Roberson, built around the music of Tina Turner and staged at Epiphany Hall in Chicago. Tina Turner does not perform in this program.

This program is a tribute to Tina Turner, the American singer who recorded with Ike & Tina Turner before building a solo career with hits such as "Proud Mary," "What's Love Got to Do with It," and "Private Dancer." Turner is not on stage. The evening is presented by Dorothy Roberson as a homage to that repertoire.

Turner's career spanned soul, rock and pop, from the duo years with Ike Turner to the solo albums of the 1980s. Turner died in 2023, and tributes like this one keep that catalog in live performance.

Epiphany Center for the Arts hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this program takes place in Epiphany Hall. For listeners drawn to Turner's soul and rock hits, the evening offers those songs in a live tribute format.
