Echoe Presents: midwxst

An electronic concert by midwxst, presented under the Echoe Presents title at Echoplex in Los Angeles. The evening is built around a single artist performing live.

midwxst is an electronic act, and this Los Angeles concert is presented under the Echoe Presents title. It suits listeners who follow electronic music performed live, with midwxst as the sole artist on the bill. The evening is a single-act concert, so the program centers entirely on this project.

Electronic music is built from synthesized and sampled sounds, and in a live setting those sounds are shaped in real time by the performer rather than played back as fixed recordings. That makes the concert format a direct way to hear how the project's sound is built on stage.

Echoplex is a venue on Glendale Boulevard in Echo Park, Los Angeles, and hosts concerts and shows. Its program centers on live performance, which is the format of this evening.
