Overview
An electronic music night in Los Angeles marking the 15th anniversary of Green Life Entertainment, with a welcome-back appearance by Jesse Saunders and a birthday celebration for Thee-O.
Jesse Saunders is a Chicago house pioneer whose 1984 record "On and On" is often cited among the earliest house records. The bill also includes DJ Colette, Donald Glaude, Thee-O and Bret Wallace, all working in the electronic music tradition. The evening is built around the label's anniversary and the return of Jesse Saunders, with Thee-O's birthday as a second occasion.
The event is presented by Green Life Entertainment and is billed as a night of electronic music, with several performers appearing on one program. Because the lineup spans multiple artists, the night suits listeners who follow house and related dance music and want to hear a range of names from one bill.
Soulwerks hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The night is aimed at electronic music fans and at those following the Green Life Entertainment catalog through its fifteenth year.
