Hoover Dam Highlights Tour from Las Vegas, WiFi

A day trip from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, combining a walk across a bridge above the Colorado River with a visit to the historic town of Boulder City.

This day trip takes visitors to Hoover Dam, presented as one of the world's great man-made sights on the Colorado River. The route includes a walk across the Mike O'Callaghan/Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, where the view of the dam is about 900 feet above the river.

At the dam, the trip allows time to look around the area and take photographs. It then continues to the Boulder City Historic District, a town often described as the community that helped build the dam. Entry to the Hoover Dam Museum is free, and the district has cafes, antique shops and an art walk lined with bronze statues.

The trip suits visitors passing through Las Vegas who want a daytime excursion outside the city. Expect a walk on the bridge and time on foot in town.
