Los Angeles, Santa Monica Murder Mystery: Solve the case!

A detective game played on foot through Santa Monica, starting from the Santa Monica Art Museum. Players work through a murder case using clues, suspects and puzzles, with a smartphone as the main tool.

Players take on the role of a detective in this outdoor murder mystery set in Santa Monica. The case centers on Bella, a well-known travel blogger who is found dead during a ghost tour. Using a smartphone, you gather evidence, question suspects and work out puzzles tied to the streets, with landmarks, graffiti and statues serving as possible leads. Players move through the city at their own pace and must decide who is responsible before the investigation closes.

The outing begins at the Santa Monica Art Museum and runs entirely outdoors on public ground. Participants must not enter private buildings or premises. The game requires a smartphone with an internet connection, and each phone needs its own ticket to unlock the game. The puzzles are designed to test critical thinking and detective skills. The recommended age is 14 and up, and younger children can take part when accompanied by an adult.

The format suits groups of friends, couples, families and solo players who enjoy mystery and suspense. Because the route is on foot through the city, it works best for those comfortable walking between locations while reading clues on their phone.
