Overview
A Halloween rock show for the whole family, featuring the Chicago band Mucca Pazza, with DadJoke and emcee Noah Ginex, staged at Color Club in Chicago.
Mucca Pazza is a Chicago act whose loud, colorful performances have reached late-night club rooms, Logan Square's Halloween Parade, the Obama Presidential Center and the Chicago River Show. The band is based in Irving Park. This edition is pitched as a family-friendly Halloween rock concert.
The bill also includes DadJoke, a children's songs project run by Dave Reminick, who sings and plays guitar in the post-punk group Paper Mice, based in Chicago. Its debut album, Fun Intended, is aimed at grownups as much as kids, with off-kilter rhythms, unexpected key changes and songs about ducks, imagined dinosaur sounds and a giant rubber horse. Noah Ginex, an award-winning puppeteer who has appeared on WGN News, is the emcee.
