New Orleans Swamp Boat Tour

Explore the Manchac swamp on a boat trip across a privately owned wildlife refuge with no other vessels present.

This boat trip takes visitors through the Manchac swamp on a privately owned wildlife refuge where hunting and fishing are prohibited. Because other watercraft are absent and wildlife remains undisturbed by human activity, animals frequently stay in the open near the boats.

During the journey, boat captains share information about the local fauna inhabiting the wetlands alongside the history of the people who previously lived in the area. This excursion suits nature enthusiasts and visitors interested in local ecosystems.

The meeting point is located in New Orleans.
