Overview
A New Year's midday tribute show in Las Vegas, built around the music of Frank Sinatra and performed by Dave Halston at the South Point Showroom. It is a tribute, not a performance by Frank Sinatra.
The Sinatra Experience is a tribute to Frank Sinatra, the American singer whose recordings date from the late 1930s into the 1990s and include "My Way" and "Strangers in the Night." In this production, Dave Halston is the artist honoring Sinatra's catalog, so the evening centers on Sinatra's repertoire rather than on the original recordings.
The title New Year's At Noon places the program at a holiday midday slot. The South Point Showroom at South Point Hotel Casino and Spa hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas, and this production is staged there.
The evening suits listeners who follow the Great American Songbook, the body of standards Sinatra recorded with orchestras across his career, and anyone looking for a Las Vegas show built around that tradition.
