NYE Block Party

NYE Block Party is a New Year's Eve outing at Mister Days, a Washington, D.C. venue that hosts concerts and shows. Its title places the session at the close of the year, as a party-style gathering built around the turn into the new year.

Visitors passing through Washington, D.C. during the holidays, and groups of friends looking to mark the end of the year together, are a natural audience for a block-party format. Because the venue's programming centers on live performance, the outing is staged in a setting built for shows.

The outing is designed around New Year's Eve itself, so it suits anyone planning to spend the holiday in the capital.
