Rayland Baxter is a country singer whose work blends country and alternative styles. Active since 2010, the artist released the debut album Feathers & Fishhooks in 2012, and the music on this tour draws on blues, country and folk.

The True Violet Tour brings that repertoire to Washington, D.C., where The Atlantis hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow singer-songwriters working between country and alternative sounds, with blues and folk in the mix.

Each set is built around the songwriting that has defined the artist since the first record, and the program offers a direct way to hear how the country and alternative elements sit side by side in live performance.
