Steve Lacy: Oh yeah? Tour

Steve Lacy performs on the Oh yeah? Tour at FPL Solar Amphitheater at Bayfront Park in Miami, a stop for a project rooted in R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae.

Steve Lacy began as a guitarist and producer for The Internet, the Los Angeles group. Lacy then built a solo career, with the debut studio album Gemini Rights, released in 2022, which included the single Bad Habit. The solo catalog draws on R&B and soul, with funk and reggae elements in the mix.

The genre blend of R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae is the defining trait of this music. Listeners who follow contemporary R&B and soul will recognize the same rhythmic and harmonic interests across the catalog, which moves between these styles rather than staying within one.

FPL Solar Amphitheater at Bayfront Park hosts concerts and shows in Miami, and this tour brings the act to that venue. The night suits listeners who follow contemporary R&B and funk-influenced soul and want to hear that range performed by the artist who recorded it.
