Superfunland at the Museum of Sex! Journey Into The Erotic Carnival

Superfunland: Journey Into the Erotic Carnival is one of the exhibitions at the Museum of Sex in New York, presenting the history and changing attitudes toward human desire through an interactive carnival-style display.

The exhibition takes the form of a carnival, spread across four floors of the Museum of Sex, with interactive games and rides as its main attractions. Visitors move through these playful installations, which are designed to inform as much as to entertain, and which take up the museum's broader theme of how human desire has been understood and represented over time.

The Museum of Sex is a museum in New York devoted to the history and cultural evolution of sexuality. Its exhibitions are developed with the help of artists and scholars, and this one is presented as the museum's central showcase. The interactive format means the visit is hands-on rather than a walk past static works, so visitors take part in the games themselves.

The display suits visitors who enjoy playful, participatory exhibitions and who are comfortable with adult subject matter. It can be visited as a couple, with friends or on your own, at whatever pace you prefer, since the exhibition is open for a visiting period rather than a single scheduled session.
