Sweet Fleet: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

A tribute concert by Sweet Fleet, a pop, rock and indie act performing the songs of Fleetwood Mac at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura, Florida.

Sweet Fleet presents a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, the British-American band formed in London in 1967. Sweet Fleet is not Fleetwood Mac itself. The original group's core members included Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, and its 1977 album Rumours contains "Go Your Own Way" and "Dreams," two of the band's best-known songs.

The genre is pop, rock and indie, and the evening suits listeners who follow Fleetwood Mac's catalog and the pop-rock songwriting that shaped it. It is a good fit for anyone who wants to hear that repertoire performed by a separate act rather than the original band.

The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center hosts concerts and shows in Aventura, a city in Miami-Dade County, north of Miami. The venue's program is built around live performance, so the evening is a concert format with a dedicated stage for this tribute.
