The Blasting Company plays Over The Garden Wall

The Blasting Company presents a program of blues, country and folk built around Over The Garden Wall, the Cartoon Network miniseries. The concert takes place at the Howard Theatre in Washington.

The Blasting Company works in blues, country and folk. The program draws on Over The Garden Wall, the miniseries created by Patrick McHale that premiered on Cartoon Network in 2014. The show follows two half-brothers, Wirt and Greg, who become lost in a mysterious woodland called the Unknown and try to find their way home.

The evening is presented at the Howard Theatre, which hosts concerts and shows in Washington. Listeners interested in roots music, and viewers who know the series, are the natural audience for a night built around its story and characters.
