The Dream Concert: A Tribute to Paul Anka & Bobby Darin

A tribute concert by Dream Concert, honoring the late-1950s and early-1960s pop of Paul Anka and Bobby Darin, staged at Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura.

This evening is a tribute to Paul Anka and Bobby Darin, two singers whose recordings shaped American pop in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Paul Anka is a singer-songwriter whose hits include "Diana" (1957) and "Lonely Boy" (1959), and who wrote the English lyrics of "My Way." Bobby Darin had hits with "Splish Splash" (1958), "Dream Lover" (1959) and "Mack the Knife" (1959), a song that became one of the best-known recordings of its era.

The performers are Dream Concert, a tribute act. Paul Anka and Bobby Darin do not appear on stage; the evening presents their songs through the tribute performers.

The concert takes place at Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, a venue in Aventura that hosts concerts and shows. It suits listeners who want to hear the vocal pop and standards associated with these two singers performed live.
