The Jury Experience – The Killer AI

A live theater courtroom drama at Kellogg Conference Hotel Capitol Hill in which the audience serves as the jury, weighing testimony and evidence in a case about a driverless car.

In this live theater courtroom drama, the audience takes the place of the jury. Over the course of the outing, participants hear testimony, examine evidence and weigh each argument in a case that begins with a driverless car and a fatal incident. The central question asks how responsibility should be divided when technology is the subject under judgment.

Decisions rest with the audience. Votes taken at key points shape the plot, and the group reaches a final verdict of guilty or not guilty. Participants use their phones to scan QR codes during key moments of the performance. The outing is presented in English.

It suits groups of friends and couples who enjoy courtroom plots and debate, as well as visitors interested in questions about technology and accountability. The session takes place at Kellogg Conference Hotel Capitol Hill, the venue hosting this outing.
