WORK Weekender Day 1: Fadi Mohem, Fizch, & Lindsey Herbert

Day one of the WORK Weekender in Los Angeles, an electronic night featuring Fadi Mohem, Fizch and Lindsey Herbert, three acts working in underground techno and related club sounds.

Fadi Mohem is described by the organizers through groove, reduction and repetition, with a stripped-back approach that keeps moving forward. Fizch, born in Colombia and based in Vancouver, mixes raw techno and hypnotic groove, and is a pillar of the Vantek family, which the material credits with a long presence in the underground scene.

Lindsey Herbert is credited with a steady commitment to the more underground side of techno and to sound design, along with a knack for winning over crowds whatever the circumstances.

The event is presented as a safe space for enjoying music and making friends, and it states that anyone harassing others or disrupting the night will be removed and banned from future events. This opening day of the WORK Weekender is aimed at listeners who follow underground electronic music.
