Overview
A concert in Philadelphia by the indie rock band Geese, presented in the WXPN Welcomes series at The Fillmore Philadelphia, with Gwenifer Raymond and Cold Court also on the bill.
Geese is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Its albums include Projector and Getting Killed, and this tour takes its name from the latter. The band's songs combine guitar-driven rock with pop melodies and the angular, shifting arrangements typical of contemporary indie rock.
The bill also features Gwenifer Raymond, a guitarist whose work draws on fingerstyle and acoustic playing, and Cold Court. The evening is presented as part of WXPN Welcomes, the station's concert series, which brings rock, pop and indie acts to live audiences.
The Fillmore Philadelphia hosts concerts and shows in the city. The night suits listeners who follow indie rock and pop-leaning rock bands, and anyone interested in hearing a current indie act alongside two other artists on the same program.
