Adult. is a punk and rock act from Detroit, formed in 1996 and built around Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller. Their music combines the abrasive energy of post-punk with synthesizers and electronic beats, a blend that draws on the long tradition of machine-driven music in Detroit.

Their catalog includes the album Resolution, which shows how the electronic and punk elements work together in their songs. Listeners who know the band mostly through its synth-driven side will find the guitar-led intensity equally central to the project's identity.

The concert takes place at Black Cat, a venue in NW Washington that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits anyone interested in punk and rock with an electronic edge and in hearing a Detroit group that has spent decades working between those two worlds.
