Afrojam DJ Lab

Afrojam DJ Lab is an electronic music program at Acoustik Garden Lounge in Brooklyn, built around DJ mixing and live selection for listeners who follow DJ-led nights.

Afrojam DJ Lab is an electronic act, and this performance falls within electronic music, a genre built on DJ mixing, looped rhythms and sounds made with synthesizers and drum machines. Live, electronic sets are usually played through turntables, controllers or laptops, with the DJ shaping the tempo and transitions in real time.

The program takes place at Acoustik Garden Lounge, a concert venue in Brooklyn, and is aimed at listeners who want a DJ-led electronic night in the borough.

Because the evening centers on a DJ, the sound follows the mixing and track selection made live during the night, so each performance shifts with the DJ's choices.
