Amarillo by Morning

A tribute show in Las Vegas built around the music of George Strait, presented under the title Amarillo by Morning, with a country, blues and folk program at the Orleans Showroom.

Amarillo by Morning takes its name from a George Strait song, and the project is billed as The George Strait Tribute. It is a tribute act, not George Strait himself. Strait, from Texas, has recorded country music since the early 1980s, and his catalog is the main reference point for this program, which also draws on blues and folk.

The show suits listeners who follow traditional country and want to hear Strait's songs performed in a tribute format. The genre is country, blues and folk, so the material moves between those styles rather than sticking to a single one.

The Orleans Showroom is a Las Vegas venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this program is part of that calendar. It is a fit for anyone planning a country-focused evening during a visit to Las Vegas.
