Bo Staloch - The 'Too Big, Too Big' Tour

Bo Staloch's "Too Big, Too Big" Tour brings blues, country and folk to The Atlantis, a Washington venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening is built on three American roots styles.

Bo Staloch's "Too Big, Too Big" Tour is built around blues, country and folk, three American roots styles that have long shared stages. Blues contributes blue notes and sung narratives, country its storytelling and plain-spoken lyrics, and folk its acoustic songwriting.

Each style has its own lineage. Blues grew out of African American communities in the Deep South, country draws on Appalachian and Southern string-band music, and folk rests on ballads passed down orally. Together they form a shared vocabulary that lets one evening move easily between the three.

The Atlantis, the Washington venue hosting this stop, presents concerts and shows. The night suits listeners who follow American roots music and want to hear how these three styles meet in a single program.
