Bowling for Soup is a punk and rock band formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. The lineup consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler, and drummer Gary Wiseman. The band gained widespread recognition with their major-label debut album Let's Do It for Johnny! in 2000, followed by the breakthrough release Drunk Enough to Dance in 2002, which featured the hit single Girl All the Bad Guys Want. Their musical style draws heavily from 1980s pop-punk and alternative rock, characterized by humorous lyrics, catchy guitar riffs, and upbeat tempos.

On this visit to New Orleans, the band performs at Tipitina's, a historic music venue located in Uptown. The venue hosts concerts and shows, presenting touring artists and local acts across various musical genres. This performance offers an opportunity to hear the group's catalog in a live setting.
